I posted my drop in the etc. trade forum, it was the "yakslapper" 20% fast recharge with prot spells, mana+5, fast recovery from weakness, and enchants last 20% longer. Pretty nifty drop if you ask me.

On the note of items, has anyone checked out the new weapon merchant and collector's weapons? I've noticed a few shields with 2 bonuses on them.
On a sadder note, the +5 energy sword from HoD is no more.

The collector outside of rankor used to have a shield with +45 health and -2 damage in stance. Changed to while hexed. Glad mine didn't change.
Droknars selling 15 over 50 swords. Nice.

Seems like green items are just max numbers. Makes it easier on the PvE'ers, but luckily, nothing to ruin PvP.

The advantages to the green items appear to be that they're always perfect and that they have a chance to have the same mod twice (possibly a bug, although I don't think it really affects balance so I say leave it in if it is).

actually, you could have had the same mod twice before. i have a gold necro staff with two armor+5 mods, from before sf. but its was only some mods. i think they increased the different amounts and types of mods there are...maybe.

Not a bug. Staff Head of Defense + Staff Wrapping of Defense = +5 armor / +5 armor.

When I saw green items, I thought, FUDGE, GOLD ITEMS SUCKS NOW...and i think its true.
but then again, I dont think u can salvage the upgrades from the green items, SO HAHAHAHAHAHA! Upgrades should still be worth something........
if the poster was right taht u can change upgrades, then it means ppl will still seek to upgrade perfect upgrades. exmaple: change defensive to fortitude.
both green staves were necro staves... so no ele boss = no ele staff. so ele staff will still be worth something IF there are indeed no ele bosses. ihope there aint no ele boss becaue i just payed HELLA for a 10/9 improve cast/skill recharge air stafff. that was like my life savings.
now gold items will only be useful for the perfect upgrades.
I HOPE GREEN ITEMS CAN NOT BE SALVAGED (someone wanna try it out ? HAHA =P)

i dont think it matters if they can be salvaged, as the mods are already perfect...if you wanna change it you still mod it though. green looks cooler than gold, too. =)

I was under the impression that you couldn't actually upgrade a weapon that way because one would override the other, but maybe I was wrong. OK then.

the ele boss is a red ice golem.
Also, the green items seem to keep a few abilities constant, but vary others. For example, the Yakslapper can have quick recovery to many conditions, but always seems to keep the 20/20 prot. Also, requirements are variable as well from what i've heard.
